In my type II class, we worked with Baltimore County Department of Recreation & Parks to design a logo for them. The client described their organization as a welcoming space, inclusive, and encourages wellness. My logo design may be simple when you first look at it, but there is a lot of meaning behind the shape and elements. The trees represent nature, but each tree is a different shape and size and this represents diversity. The leading lines that the trees create, represents growth. The lock-up of all the elements creates a shape of a building, representing community and a safe space.
